May. 4th, 2004 10:12 pmWoo! It's done, the rest of finals week is a downhill slope from here. One final left and move-out. I knew if I survived today it was all finished.
Today I had my Biological Anthropology final to turn in, my Music Education binder to turn in (missing one piece.. he's getting it Wednesday or Thursday) and... my Jury to sing.
(for everyone not a music major: Jury is where I have to get up in front of all the voice teachers, sing my rep pieces for the semester and get graded on them.)
It's all over! I'm done.. and I nailed my Jury. I went in there and kicked ass... I had everything memorized, no huge screw ups. I came in early during one part of Silent noon by Van Willams, but Mary Anne (my accompanist) covered it well and we both pulled it together.
I came out of that and nearly bowled over Chris and Amanda in joy I was so excited. Now that I think back on it, I could have done things better, entrances could have been cleaner, I could have breathed in better places... I think I mispronounced "piacer" but considering last time I barely made it though my pieces and had memory problems I'm exstactic.
I'm gonna go treat myself to so fanficage, maybe watch some pirated Anime Eric and Meagan lent me. Just enjoy the fact that the end is near and I can almost let down my guard. Hallelujah!
